GROUND SOURCE HEATPUMPS

A Ground Source Heatpump system harnesses natural heat from below the ground whose temperature will be warmer than the air in winter. For this reason they are more efficient than air source heatpumps, especially in the coldest weather when they are most needed. They generate very little noise and last for many years.

AIR SOURCE

HEATPUMPS

An Air Source Heatpump systems extracts heat from the outside air. They can still extract heat when air temperatures are as low as -20 DegC. The technology for these heatpumps is evolving and they are becoming more efficient and quieter. Given the simpler and cheaper installation over ground source, and the generally milder winters in the UK recently, they are becoming even more attractive.

Solar panels for either generating electricity (Photovoltaic) or hot water capture the sun's energy and convert it to be used within your home.
