NIBE S1155 12kW GROUND SOURCE HEATPUMP & SOLAR WATER HEATING

This project involved a house which originates to 1850 and which has undergone a full renovation and had a sizeable extension added. The clients decided to take a fabric first approach and fully stripped the old house upgrading the windows and insulation to current building standards.

Once the building fabric had been improved, the team at 1314 Renewables removed the old inefficient oil boiler and replaced it with the latest generation of Ground Source Heatpumps from NIBE, the S1155 12kW. The heating system was split into 3 zones to maximise system efficiency by allowing each zone to be treated differently in terms of time & temperature. In addition to this the South facing roof of the property was fitted with solar water heating panels.
